First, we will collect you from your accommodation to begin the Southern Valley Cusco Tour. Our journey will take us roughly 15 miles (24 km) eastward to the Tipon archaeological site. Undoubtedly, Tipon stands as a significant site in the region, representing an ancient Inca location dedicated to the veneration of water, a revered natural element for the Incas. It’s worth noting that to this day, Tipon’s intricate network of canals and terraces still channels water, which you’ll have the opportunity to explore alongside your knowledgeable guide.

Following our exploration of Tipon, we will proceed to the expansive Pre-Inca site of Pikillacta, built by the Wari civilization. Notably, the Wari inhabited the Cusco region prior to the Inca’s reign. Afterward, we will visit the Andahuayillas church, often referred to as the “Sistine Chapel of the Americas” due to its lavish interior decorations.
