DAY 1:

CUSCO – AUSANGATE – ANANTA

2-Day Rainbow Mountain Tour & Red Valley – Vinicunca Trek

Our adventure begins bright and early with a hotel pick-up at 4:00 a.m.. From Cusco, we embark on a 3 to 4-hour journey to the starting point of our expedition. Before commencing the Rainbow Mountain tour, we’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast to fuel our day ahead.

As we progress along our route, we’ll reach the first pass of Pucaccocha. Here, we’ll be treated to awe-inspiring views of the majestic Ausangate glacier and its shimmering lakes, providing a breathtaking backdrop for our hike.

A midday break is scheduled for lunch, allowing us to refuel and rest before continuing our journey. In the afternoon, we’ll arrive at our campsite in Ananta, where a delicious dinner awaits. After dinner, you can unwind and rest up for the next day’s adventure.

2-Day Rainbow Mountain Tour & Red Valley – Vinicunca Trek

On the second day of our adventure, we’ll rise bright and early to indulge in a delicious breakfast, ensuring we’re energized for the Rainbow Mountain hike ahead. This day holds special significance as we aim to conquer the “Mountain of Colors.”

We’ll commence our ascent towards Rainbow Mountain, where upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by mesmerizing landscapes waiting to be explored. Take your time to wander, capture stunning photographs, and immerse yourself in the beauty of this unique natural wonder.

After soaking in the sights of Rainbow Mountain, we’ll continue our trek for an additional 30 minutes to explore the captivating Red Valley, allowing ample time to revel in its breathtaking scenery.

To wrap up our journey, lunch will be served before we make our way back to the city of Cusco. Our transportation will be ready to escort us back to Cusco, marking the end of our memorable Rainbow Mountain experience.
